It is vital to keep Thread information private. If you have someone reach out to you about your role in Thread respond with "No Comment", then reach out to your Community Manager.
The Vice President of Involvement, in collaboration with the CEO, is responsible for all interactions with the media on behalf of Thread and its Employees and Volunteers. If approached by the press, volunteers should direct all press inquiries, both formal and informal, to the Vice President of Involvement at media@thread.org for evaluation and handling.
Interaction with the media includes all direct and indirect media contacts on behalf of, or concerning, Thread, messages about young people and programs, commentary on or positions of views on education and mentoring, or articles written about Thread, public policy issues, descriptions or accounts of internal events and all public statements where an individual is identified as a Thread volunteer.
