Can I visit a young person's home?

Of course! You should plan to visit a young person's home as soon as they are comfortable inviting you over.

Volunteers who wish to visit a young person's home must abide by the following Home Visitation Policy:

When making a home visit, at least two or more volunteers must always be present.
A volunteer who has not provided home visitation in the past must be accompanied by a Thread Employee or veteran volunteer (a volunteer who has performed past home visitation).
Home visitation is not a requirement of volunteering. It is optional.

Home Visits During COVID-19

Wear a mask the entire time
After you knock step back to maintain 6 feet distance, and stay 6 feet apart for the entire visit.
If you bring something to drop off, place it in front of the door and step back 6 feet.
Do not go into the house, this is to protect everyone.
