Ask Coaching Questions

Seek Clarity:

  1. Do you have health insurance?
  2. How much do you need support with?
  3. Is this a one time request or will you need ongoing support?
  4. What pharmacy do you use?
  5. Is the prescription a name brand or generic?
  6. Do you have a Primary Care Physician?

Get to the Root:

  1. If this is not a new prescription, what led to you not being able to afford it this month?

Ask About Options:

  1. How much do you think you could afford to put towards your prescriptions right now?
  2. Who have you asked for help?
  3. What have you tried so far?
  4. Have you been in this situation before? If so, how did you handle it?
  5. Do you know anyone who has been unable to afford their prescriptions before? If so, how did you handle it?
  6. Do you have any friends or family who could lend you money this month?
