Seek Clarity:

  1. What expenses do you need support with?
  2. How much support do you need?
  3. What was the cause of the death (natural causes, violence, etc)
  4. When do you plan to have the funeral?

Ask About Options:

  1. How much do you think you could afford right now?
  2. Who have you asked for help?
  3. What have you tried so far?
  4. Have you been in this situation before? If so, how did you handle it?
  5. Do you know anyone who has been in this situation before? If so, how did you handle it?
  6. Do you have any friends or family who could lend you money?
