Open to all Thread young people and volunteers looking to think about post high school plans.

How do I support?

Sign up to volunteer for specific roles here. Volunteers are always welcome to join but if you like having a job or a role we always need help with some recurring functions.

What will we do?

  • Programming Provided
    • Tell Your Story!: A panel will be held by a host and 5 individuals. The panel will be about how the panelists were able to achieve housing and what helped them along the way. Questions will be asked by the host and by others in the audience. Resources will be shared as well as information about the Housing resource fair.
    • ACCE Pre-Spring Break Trip Meeting: Pre-trip meeting to go over norms, expectations and trip overview.
    • "Uncommon Dialogue": Uncommon Dialogue is an all male oriented group for the ages 16-61. It's a safe space for men to vent, problem solve, and bounce ideas off of one another to come up with the best solution in each given life choice: From Fatherhood, Relationships, Anger Management, Career Choice, etc.
    • Mindful Moments: A space to explore the basics of meditation, breath and yogas as tools for overall wellbeing. Dhaujee will guide participants through a flow that will introduce elements of the 8 limbs of yoga. Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. This space will be limited to 15 people.

    • Keys to Housing: Keys to Housing is a drop-in resource fair where students and community members can connect one-on-one with local organizations offering housing support. Stop by to explore affordable housing options, utility assistance, tenant resources, and other services—all in one place.
    • Rosedale Financial Literacy: Join Rosedale Bank and learn the essential skills to manage your money with confidence. This beginner-friendly workshop will cover budgeting, saving, understanding credit, and making smart financial decisions in everyday life.
