Open to all Thread young people and volunteers looking to think about post high school plans.
How do I support?
Sign up to volunteer for specific roles here. Volunteers are always welcome to join but if you like having a job or a role we always need help with some recurring functions.

Programming Provided:
- Kennedy Krieger Life Skills: This three-part series equips young people with the tools to build healthy, respectful relationships, strengthen social-emotional intelligence, and navigate professional interactions with confidence. Through interactive sessions on boundaries, communication, and customer service and interviewing skills, participants will develop both personal and workplace readiness.
- Bmore Fresh: Amber Royal is coming to talk about food access. This programming will be paired with our typical bi-weekly grocery distribution.
- Makerspace Tour: Young people will have the opportunity to participate in a 90-minute workshop in The Village's own Makerspace, where they will get to learn how to use key tools and create something.
- Your Vote Matters: No Boundaries Coalition will be at Thread to teach young people about their voting rights and how to participate in local elections. This is a great opportunity for youth to learn, ask questions, and get empowered to make their voices heard. Presented by Javey Adams

- M&T Bank: Join M&T Bank and learn the essential skills to manage your money with confidence. This beginner-friendly workshop will cover budgeting, saving, understanding credit, and making smart financial decisions in everyday life. They will also assist in opening bank accounts on site.
- Makerspace Tour: Young people will have the opportunity to participate in a 90-minute workshop in The Village's own Makerspace, where they will get to learn how to use key tools and create something.

- Thread Adulting Bootcamp: Thread’s Adulting Bootcamp is a dynamic, hands-on event designed to equip young people with essential independent living skills as they navigate the transition to adulthood. Through interactive workshops, real-life simulations, and guided discussions, participants will explore topics like budgeting, cooking, time management, renting an apartment, and accessing healthcare.
