Open to all Thread young people and volunteers looking to think about post high school plans.
How do I support?
Sign up to volunteer for specific roles here. Volunteers are always welcome to join but if you like having a job or a role we always need help with some recurring functions.

Whiting Turner: For young people who miss the first session, the legendary Kirk will be hosting an info session all about Whiting-Turner.
- Young people will also be able to sign up for interviews during this session.
- Planned Parenthood: Sex Ed Talk: Planned Parenthood will be hosting a 5 class course on these topics; Consent, Relationships (this takes 2 classes), STIs and Birth Control.
- BCCC Informational Session & Fireside Chats: A short presentation on options that can be pursued at BCCC by young people depending on their PHS pathway as well as a general Q&A session and one on one chats with admissions.

- Touchpoint Baby Shower! - We will be hosting another of our bi-annual Baby and Toddler Showers on February 25th at threadHOURS at TouchPoint. If you have any items you want to bring in please let me know. If you are bringing in items please bring them in as close to 2/25 as possible so as to not clog up the storage room with stuff and please give me a heads up with the items you are bringing before you bring them in. For more information about our baby shower event, click here.

- Ballet After Dark: YouthWorks Presentation and Demonstration of Hot Girl and Code Red Kit: Ballet After Dark: presenting information about 3 YouthWorks opps and demonstration of Code Red and Hot Girl Kits.
- Privilege Walk & Discussion: A program focused on identified the various identities and intersection of privilege amongst the attendees, including it's relevance for BHM and in the world today.
- GED Jeopardy: Learn about the GED process during a game of Jeopardy!

Programming Provided:
- "Voting Debate": Young people will engage in a mock political debate, creating groups that will then present their position to the audience. The goal of this activity is to understand what civic engagement is as it relates to voting and to get participants thinking about what to look for when politicians speak.
- "Uncommon Dialogue": Uncommon Dialogue is an all male oriented group for the ages 16-61. It's a safe space for men to vent, problem solve, and bounce ideas off of one another to come up with the best solution in each given life choice: From Fatherhood, Relationships, Anger Management, Career Choice, etc..
