Open to all Thread young people and volunteers looking to think about post high school plans.

How do I support?

Sign up to volunteer for specific roles here. Volunteers are always welcome to join but if you like having a job or a role we always need help with some recurring functions.

What will we do?

    • Free groceries from So What Else - Options vary but typically include fresh produce, breads, snacks, and non-perishable goods. Open to all Thread young people and their families, as well as volunteers and staff. Contact Flannery McArdle at flannery.mcardle@thread.org with questions.
  • Programming Provided:
    • Thread will be hosting the Inheritance Theater Project; A national, community nonprofit that supports local artists and organizers in bringing neighbors together by creating together.

    • The Basics of Managing Personal Finances with Rosedale Bank: Come learn from the experts on how to manage and make the most of your money. This event can be joined virtually if you are unable to make it to threadHours. Email Fernanda Rodriguez at fernanda.rodriguez@thread.org for more information. 
    • Uncommon Dialogue: Uncommon Dialogue is an all male oriented group for the ages 16-61. It's a safe space for men to vent, problem solve, and bounce ideas off of one another to come up with the best solution in each given life choice: From Fatherhood, Relationships, Anger Management, Career Choice, etc.
