How do I support?

Sign up to volunteer for specific roles here. Volunteers are always welcome to join but if you like having a job or a role we always need help with some recurring functions.

  • Programming Provided:
    • Keys to Housing: Keys to Housing is a drop-in resource fair where students and community members can connect one-on-one with local organizations offering housing support. Stop by to explore affordable housing options, utility assistance, tenant resources, and other services—all in one place.
    • Rosedale Financial Literacy: Join Rosedale Bank and learn the essential skills to manage your money with confidence. This beginner-friendly workshop will cover budgeting, saving, understanding credit, and making smart financial decisions in everyday life.

April 15

  • Programming Provided:
    • No Boundaries Coalition Voter Education
    • Kennedy Krieger: Life Skills: This three-part series equips young people with the tools to build healthy, respectful relationships, strengthen social-emotional intelligence, and navigate professional interactions with confidence. Through interactive sessions on boundaries, communication, and customer service and interviewing skills, participants will develop both personal and workplace readiness.
    • Makerspace Introduction: Participants will get a chance to do a short activity and take a tour of the Village's very own Makerspace, and can sign up to take a workshop in May where they will get to practice either woodworking or laser cutting.

April 29

  • Programming Provided:
    • Thread Career Expo: Thread will host a career expo for young people in years 4-10 during threadHOURS at TouchPoint! All five post-high school pathways will be represented, and young people and alumni will host panels on their post-high school paths. There will be giveaways and scavenger hunt with prizes!
