We recognize that there is no one pathway that is right for every person and that everyone takes a unique journey to the success they define for themselves. To narrow down the limitless pathways that lead to success in Post High School, we recognize 5 core pathways:
Five Post High School Pathways:
- Four-Year Academic Degree
- Two-Year Academic Degree
- Trade/Apprenticeship
- Straight to Work
- Entrepreneurship
The process of choosing a PHS path is probably the scariest step to take, but nonetheless very important. You can begin by helping a young person explore their options and preferences. Exploration can begin with a brief interest survey found on the Career One Stop or My Next Move website. There are additional resources to guide the conversation.
